Join us for the 22nd Fjords & Friends Fun Fest!
Come for a day, several days, or the whole week.
The members of Fjords & Friends, Inc. would like to invite you to the 21st gathering of Fjord owners and their friends in Blowing Rock, NC. We will gather the week of June 14-21, 2025!
Broyhill Equestrian Preserve, the home of the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show, is our host. We will have a week of optional activities, including clinicians for draft/driving sessions, beginning dressage and jumping, a Robbie Potter Horsemanship clinic, crafts, games, group meals, etc. Our most popular activity is enjoying the 20+ miles of riding/carriage trails within Moses Cone Park.
This is not a competitive event. It’s a social gathering, kind of like adult horse camp. Children and adults of all ages are welcome. All reservations at the Preserve, including stalls and campsites, are made through Fjords & Friends by contacting Lee Hardin at 828-773-6075 or Hardinlsc@aol.com.
Campsites are available; some of us camp in stalls, and others find accommodations in the adjoining, quaint town of Blowing Rock. We eat lots of meals together, both at the preserve and in restaurants. Some folks like to go shopping. We will have a canteen this year for everyone’s use, and we are blessed to have two members share their cooking talents.
